Kanna / Kougoed
Kanna / Kougoed (Sceletium tortuosum) Young Plants/Rooted Cuttings.
Kanna is a succulent plant commonly found in South Africa. The herb has been used as a traditional remedy since prehistoric times. Traditionally prepared dried Kanna was often chewed and the saliva swallowed, but it has also been made into capsules, teas and extracts. The cuttings are very easy to grow; just plant them into cactus soil, river sand or even plain potting mix and they should sprout roots after a few weeks. They like dry conditions but will benefit from regular watering.
